The design genius of Charles + Ray Eames

I was introduced to the work of Charles & Ray Eames by my father at a very early age, the couples work inspired me then, and continues to inspire now. This presentation by Eames Demetrios, their grandson, shows rarely seen films and archival footage in a lively, loving tribute to their creative process. via TED

I had checked this TED TALK just the other day too, and thought the same about Dad's design influences. I was impressed with the way Eames Demetrios approached the importance of Design and the presentation of his grandparents. A few quotes I jotted down, included:
- 'Design; life skill, not personal skill; not good to make one, but a system that works better and better
- 'Beyond that age of information is the age of choices'
- 'Design; how you approach problems
- 'Process within the man, which changes the banana leaf.
